PINK!

For my birthday, two college friends bought us tickets to see Pink in Nashville. We thought it would be fun to wear wigs and be crazy for the concert. We went to eat before at Suzy Wongs House of Yum and it was delicious! The concert was great, she did flips, danced, and all kinds of cirque de soleil type things. It was a show with a bit of a concert mixed in. I think I will stick to brown hair!

More Panama pictures

Panama 2013

Bryan was working the last week of the month in Panama, so for my birthday he surprised me with a quick trip to Panama. We spent 2 days in Panama City (Bryan-working, me-laying by the pool) and then headed out to Boquete. Boquete is a small town on the edge of the rain forest and near a dormant volcano. We spend all weekened hiking to waterfalls, riding horses through a canyon, visiting natural hot springs, touring coffee plantations, and ziplining amid other things. It was beautiful!

February Fun

It was a fun month. It started off with a surprise birthday dinner (sitter included) with an old friend on Friday night. Then we had some friends over the watch the UK game on Saturday, and my parents and grandmother came in on Sunday to have lunch with me. Thirty is not as bad as I thought it might be!!!! We also had our first snow around here. Mid-month we visited Birmingham for Valentine's Day. We were hosting a shower on Saturday, Bryan was working there that week, so A and I decided to go visit for a few days. We had a blast- thanks for letting us stay! And late in the month, I took my first trip to Central America!

We moved the end of January into our new house. I don't have many pictures yet but will try to take some soon and post. Here are a few, but these are just the ones I had on my phone to take while looking for things for the house. I will take real ones!

November-December-January Catch Up

I am a terrible blogger! I haven't posted in months but things have been crazy!!! We sold our house over Thanksgiving weekend and had to be out by Christmas. Needless to say, between packing and saying good-bye to friends I haven't had time to blog. Then we moved in with my sister for a month and I didn't have a computer set up to blog. I try to use the Blogger App on the iPad but find it hard to put text and pictures in. A celebrated her 7, 8, and 9 month birthdays since last time. Here are a few pictures to catch you up! These are from November: We had a good Christmas in Hoptown and Sturgis celebrating with the family and moved to Nashville, into Angie's house. We celebrated New Years in Birmingham with the deGruys (cute blog at www.360degruys.com if you are interested). Bryan had to work that week in the 'Ham so A and I decided to join him. Thanks for letting us stay! (Look how cute A's New Years date is!) January was spent at Angie's house. Luckily she recently moved into a big house with plenty of space for 3 extra people. Roxie lived with Bryan's parents for the month. 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs seemed a bit much! Plus, Skeeter and Roxie have a love-hate relationship. :) Here are a few pics of the kiddos playing. And yes, A learned to pull up and crawl super fast while living there!
